Mental Health Service
Depressions, stress and anxiety can affect all of at some stage with 1 in 4 people expressing a mental health problem in any given year.
The latest figure from Alzheimer’s Society, in 2015 states 850,000 people were diagnosed with Dementia. However two thirds of those people live in the community.
As part of our home care service, our trained and experienced staff are on hand to support people with Dementia and other mental health needs, to receive care in their own home for as long as it is safe to do so.
We can provide care at home services from as little as 30 minutes a day to full time ‘Live in’ Service. We can also provide a tailored care package, when family members need to take a break. This is called a ‘respite service.’
Our trained staff can help with medication from a simple reminder to administering medication, applying creams etc.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide personal care services. This means we can provide assistance with washing and bathing, shaving and showering, cooking, cleaning and laundry. We also offer a sitting service day & night.
Our trained and experienced staff can help with shopping and monitoring of food in the home, disposing of out of date and expired food items.
If you are considering Nursing or Residential home fees for a loved one, it may be worth calling us and asking for the charge rate for our ‘Live in service.’ Most people find our fee is very competitive in comparison with a more permanent move into nursing and residential care.
