Medway Branch

Training & Recruitment Manager - Salary £17,500 - 35 hours per week

We are recruiting for a Training & Recruitment Manager. You’ll be responsible for the ongoing training of our workforce and the training of new staff joining company. In addition to training, you’ll also be responsible for the recruitment processes and community based supervision and assessments processes.

You will be primarily office based at our Medway office, but when the need arises you will be also working in the community conducting spot check, assessments and reviews for our staff and service users. Occasionally you will need to work from our Sittingbourne office.

This role would suit an experienced (2 years+) Care Worker looking to further their career in Care or someone with previous training experience. If you don’t have previous training experience, that’s fine, we can train you to become a confident trainer when starting this role.

Requirements of a Training & Recruitment Manager

  • Availability to work flexible hours, but primarily 09:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday, with the occasional weekend (1 weekend in 4)
  • Previous care experience
  • IT / computer literate
  • Driving license

  • Training the workforce

  • Creating a plan for service users care
  • Carrying out assessments & reviews for service users
  • Liaising with professionals
  • Carrying out care duties when required

About Us

We are a family-run organisation that offers a range of care services throughout Kent. We are contracted with Medway Council and Kent County Council. We were established in 2004 and are rated "Good" with CQC.

You will need to be logistical as you communicate with Service Users and Care Workers to arrange training and appointments at the times requested.

Medway Branch

Care Coordinator - Salary £17,510 P.A

We are recruiting for a Care Coordinator. With a team of care workers to lead, you’ll supervise, manage and monitor their progress. You will be primarily office based at our Medway office, coordinating care visits using our computer system, but when the need arises you will be also working in the community conducting care duties, undertaking staff & service user reviews & assessments.

Requirements of a Care Coordinator

This role is shift based on a 06:00 to 14:00, 09.00 - 17.00 and 14:00 to 22:00 system . This will involve working some weekends. You may also be involved with out of hours on call. Please do not apply if you cannot work across these hours.

£8.30 Weekday rate, £8.60 Weekend rate, £12.45 Bank holiday rate + mileage paid

We need you to join our growing team in the Medway area! Full time & part time work available, experience isn’t essential!

You will be caring for adults and elderly people, making a difference to their lives. Sometimes you are the only contact the person has from one day to the next.

We are able to offer as many or as few hours as you like, around the hours of our care delivery, including early mornings, evenings, bed time and weekends. You need to be committed to your role, which will in turn offer continuity to our service users.

We have full time rounds of work available and also part time rounds during the week and weekends. Ideal for people who are working a main job or have family commitments during the week, but have some time to spare at the weekends. If it’s only a few hours on a regular basis we can offer you work once we have trained you.

Live in Care Worker

Scott Care is a family run Care Provider in Kent, providing high quality care services and staffing solutions working with Medway Council and Kent County Council. We are expanding our services and require a Live in Care Worker to join our team.
 
As a Live in Care Worker you will be living in the service users home, alongside them to assist them in their daily tasks, maintaining their independence. Tasks will include personal care, domestic duties, trips out shopping and accompanying service users to their appointments.
 
Previous care experience is essential. Applicants are subject to a DBS Check (formally CRB).
