Still Keeping Our Service Users Safe!

Many of the government restrictions began to ease this week for most businesses.

For those working within the care industry things remain by and large the same, and rightly so.

We support some of the most vulnerable individuals across Kent, it is our job to protect them and our own staff at all times.

We shall continue to apply PPE and implement protective measures at all times.

Single use plastic aprons and gloves will still be used.

Fluid repellent surgical masks will be worn.

Hand washing and the use of antibacterial gels will continue before and after visits.

Surface contamination will be kept to a minimum, and cleaning will take place after surface contact.

Individual risk assessments and special measure will be carried out for those Service Users who may be caused distress from the use of PPE worn by staff.

Any of our live-in carers will continue to have weekly testing, even if they are considered as part of the household.

Safety is essential in our line of work; it must be at the forefront of everything we do.
